About
I am a postdoc at The Ohio State University, working on preparation for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope‘s Galactic Bulge Time Domain Survey. In general, I study exoplanet demographics — the frequency and distribution of exoplanets across different parameters such as host star characteristics or planet characteristics. My current focus as a postdoc is simulating microlensing events for Earth-like planets in the Galactic bulge and estimating how many of these planets Roman may be able to detect in the habitable zone. I am also continuing work I started in graduate school, looking for hot Jupiters in high-α stellar populations as part of the MISHAPS Collaboration. The goal of this project is determining hot Jupiter occurrence rates in these regions and finding out whether the α abundance, [α/H], plays a specific role in their formation rates. In my free time, I am a hiker, hobbyist photographer, and foil fencer.
